Vanilla Malt Ice Cream
Here's a cool down treat every member of your family will enjoy. It's great with a chocolate sauce drizzled over the top with a nice dry stout.
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk
2 cups half-and-half
3/4 cup pale (light) malt extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Whip the eggs in a mixing bowl. Mix in the sugar a little at a time and whip for 2-3 minutes. Add milk, half-and-half, malt extract and vanilla. Thoroughly blend. Freeze in an ice cream maker. Enjoy!
