How Many Servings?

A standard 750 ml wine bottle equals 25.4 ounces or five 5 oz. servings. This is the same as the standard restaurant serving. One barrel of wine equals 25 cases which equals 300 bottles. The 300 bottles yields 1500 five ounce glasses.

One beer barrel equals 3,968 fluid ounces. But, typically we talk about beer in sixth barrels. A sixth barrel holds 5.16 US gallons which will yield 42 16 ounce beers, 56 12 ounce beers which is 2.3 cases, or 15.5 growlers.

To have the prefect number of servings, how much beer or wine will you need for your next gathering?
