Muntons Spray Dried Malt
Muntons are proud to offer our range of Spray malts (Spay-dried malt extracts) in addition to our extensive ranges of grain malts and liquid malt extracts.Spray drying is a particularly gentle and uniform way of converting our liquid malt extracts into easy to store and handle powders.Unopened and stored in cool and dry conditions Spray malts will keep for at least two years. The drying process converts each droplet of liquid malt extract into a fine powder particle in less than four seconds ensuring that the full flavour of the malt is retained and than no off flavours or taints are introduced.As with our liquid malt extracts our Spray malts can be either used as brew-house extenders or as the entire base material for your recipe.
Dried malt extract is an excellent way to add fermentables to your liquid extract recipes and retain the full malt body and flavor. It is also very convienent for making yeast starters or as the base fermentable in your recipes.
